Smart Kids AI: Speak English (com.smartkidsai.app) · Effective 1 October 2026

The short version. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. We do not sell children’s data. Lesson speech stays on the device. Purchases sit behind a parent gate.

Who this is for

Smart Kids AI helps children practise spoken English with Sami, a cartoon fox. There is no sign-in. We do not ask for a child’s name, birthday, photo, email, phone number, or location. A nickname typed in the Parent Zone stays on the device and is not sent to us.

On-device speech

The microphone is optional and off by default. Every lesson can be finished by tapping, with no microphone. When a child speaks during a lesson, recognition runs on the device. The recording is not uploaded and no transcript is stored.

Sami, the optional talking fox, is off until a parent turns it on behind the parent gate. If it is on, audio is used only long enough to make a reply and is not written to our database or kept as a transcript. If you want nothing to leave the device, leave Sami off. All lessons still work.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or share children’s data.
No advertising, no ad networks, and no interest profiles.
No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
No access to the advertising identifier, contacts, photos, camera, calendar, or location.

Progress, stars, stickers, and settings stay on the device. Delete the app, or tap Delete all data in the Parent Zone, and that copy is gone. We do not keep a copy of it.

Parent gate

The Parent Zone, purchases, external links, and the Sami switch are behind a parental gate (a short multiplication question). A child cannot start a purchase from a lesson screen. Level 1 stays free.

Subscriptions

Smart Kids AI Plus is an auto-renewable subscription group. Family Annual is 59.99 USD per year with a one-week free trial. Family Monthly is 12.99 USD per month. Prices shown in the app come from Apple and may differ by storefront. Payment is handled by Apple. We do not see the card, name, or billing address. Subscriptions renew until cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, in the device’s App Store subscription settings. Level 1 remains free either way.
